The room was spacious, equipped with a flat-screen TV and a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. The hotel's cleanliness added to the feeling of a well-maintained environment. Mornings were highlights as the breakfast served at the nearby Schloss hotel was delightful, offering a variety of options to fuel a day of exploring. For those looking to venture beyond the hotel, they have a paid shuttle service which can come in handy. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay, which I appreciated as I often combine my photography work with travel. Altes Burghotel strikes a decent balance between cost and luxury. While it may not boast an extensive on-site restaurant or additional facilities, its charm lies in its service and comfortable accommodations, making it a thoughtful base for those looking to experience the beautiful surroundings.
